In our Playschool room, we warmly welcome children the year before they embark on their primary school journey. Our main aim here is to prepare the children for the exciting next steps in their lives. Our dedicated staff focuses on nurturing their development by introducing essential self-help skills and engaging, focused activities.

The Playschool room comprises of two spaces designed to encourage a free-flow approach to learning and development. Staff thoughtfully plan activities and play experiences that reflect the children's current interests. We firmly believe in promoting a free-flow play approach, allowing children to explore and engage in their learning while being playfully supported by our team. Throughout the day, there will also be engaging adult-led activities, like cooking and crafting, where children can learn alongside our staff.

In addition, our staff will guide children to participate in more structured learning times, including letters and sounds, storytelling and singing sessions, as well as ring and dancing games, and small group activities where they can enhance their focus and skills.

We are fortunate to have a sensory room available, providing a calming space for any child who may need it, along with those who require a quiet area to recharge.

Our large garden is another fantastic resource, accessible through patio doors, enabling a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor play. Here, children can enjoy safe yet challenging activities, such as a tyre wall, slide, and climbing wall. The garden is a wonderful place for children to learn about planting, caring for, and growing their own vegetables, plants, and flowers. Additionally, our garden offers sand areas and mud kitchens, providing rich opportunities for imaginative play, with appropriate activities set up for everyone to enjoy.
