Following the success of last year we decided to organise another event to support Children in Need. We contacted local organisations who then very kindly donated prizes for us to hold a raffle. We were overwhelmed with the support we received from local business and family/friends of the setting. We had over 100 prizes which was just amazing.
On the day we opened up our Community Room and created a cafe where we were able to have a cake sale and provided food and refreshments for families and the local community. We had tombola and lucky dip running as well as a selling table. The children were able to have their face painted and the raffle continued throughout the day.
We were also very lucky to have Spotlight come and see us during the morning and we later appeared on the television which we were all very excited about. Overall we had a brilliant day and are very pleased to say that we raised £1909.76 which we are so pleased with and could not have achieved this without the help of all around us.
